You might think it's all fun and games here behind the scenes at the Conservancy. Between building fences at MERA and watching bats at Pete's Pond, we certainly DO have our share of fun. But we work hard, too! Just last weekend we had a meeting to discuss fundraising roles and strategies. Boring, right? Honestly, see the photographic evidence below of what a snoozefest it was! Huckleberry pie, baby tambourines, and lots of smiles. What a labor of love! Because the old adage still rings true: a board who eats homemade dessert together, STAYS together!
