![]() Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers that turned out earlier this month to prepare ground for a milkweed patch on the edge of La Grande. Milkweed is the only food of the monarch caterpillar and so is essential to the survival of the species. Milkweed and other native butterfly friendly plants will be planted this fall when the weather cools.
